CLEAN, OPEN FEEL.

The International Pacific Halibut Commission includes private offices, a training space, and a research lab. Positioned on the top floor of a newly constructed building on Salmon Bay, one of the main priorities for this project was to take advantage of the spectacular lake views and natural light.

Glass office fronts create a clean, open feel in a primarily private office environment and allow daylight to enter the central areas of the space. Structural steel beams were highlighted and complimented with the addition of warm wood ceilings and integrated glulam beams. Polished concrete floors, exposed common area ceilings, and reclaimed wood wall planks contribute to this space’s raw, industrial aesthetic.
