Expedia Orlando

BOHEMIAN SURF MEETS RAW INDUSTRIAL.

A commercial office in Orlando, this project features universal workstation areas (all non-assigned seating), meeting spaces and a breakroom and training room for Expedia’s Orlando employees.

The concept for Expedia’s Orlando office was inspired by the history of surf beaches in Florida - the idea of the “Coastal Hipster” provided an exciting opportunity to combine bohemian surf-inspired elements with raw industrial elements. The resulting space is warm and inviting, and creates a visually interesting land where industrial elements are juxtaposed with the more typical elements of a commercial office.

The application of wood ceiling elements and a wood-like luxury vinyl floor tile brings a sense of warmth throughout the space. Meeting room doors are painted bright orange to contrast with the dark frames and fixtures, and also serves as a wayfinding method.
