Stifel, a brokerage and investment banking firm located in Bellevue, WA, desired a contemporary space that would still align with their traditional office culture. An important aspect of the project was to ensure the space would be timeless and provide room for the company to grow. To give the office a classic and comfortable feel, wood cubicles were used to create more private workspaces for the staff and private offices were built along the exterior walls. Pops of modern design were placed throughout the space in the form of an electronic ticker tape displaying current stock values, bamboo flooring, sleek blue furniture in the reception area, and an emphasis on opening the office to natural light and beautiful Pacific Northwest views. Stifel’s new location is best described as classic with a contemporary twist.
