Broderick Building

HISTORIC IN NATURE.

We wanted to modernize the common areas while respecting the historic nature of the Broderick building. Our design plays off of the existing elements and has a mid-century modern feel. We helped to seismically upgrade the building parapet to improve safety.

Our design enhanced the already beautiful atrium by creating a comfortable “living room” type space for users to gather. There are shear walls in the building limit the tenant suite layouts, so we had to come up with creative plans to connect spaces use that utilized the few existing openings.
