ADVENTURE & CURIOSITY INSPIRED PEDIATRIC DENTAL CLINIC.

Expedition Pediatric Dentistry aims to change children’s fear of the dentist by inviting them on an adventure at their clinic. Designed with child psychology research in mind, the clinic has an exploration and adventure theme with different national park-themed treatment bays, an outdoor-inspired color palette, and biophilic elements that connect patients to nature. The clinic also features child-height check-in desks and chairs and Easter eggs to explore, such as exhibit cubes embedded in custom cabinets.

Designed to promote happiness without overstimulation, the clinic’s calming colors and materials also reflect the Pacific Northwest’s natural environment with wood furniture, sea-foam greens, whites, grays, blues, and pops of purple. The streamlined furniture and lighting was intentionally chosen to positively impact the patients and staff.
