Minimalism, precision and architectural honesty. While working with this full service engineering firm, we thought through details in depth as a collaborative team. The Hargis culture of creating high performing spaces that are leveraged for functionality and foster innovation was expressed through a thoughtful layout, honest materials and exposed detailing. Linking their two floors is the central stair and adjacent break/lounge/deck area, which serve as the heart of the office, bringing diverse team members together for easy interaction and social connection. We chose to wrap major hallway corners and intersection points with large format, backlit, writable glass to foster chance interaction and ideation. A monolithic sliding door panel welcomes you into the space, creating a spacious entrance that feels like you are part of the Hargis experience as soon as you step off of the elevator.
