Pandora

DRIVEN BY THE FLAVOR OF THE CITY.

Pandora is a music-based company that allows users to create online playlists of similar-type music by providing one or several artists. Pandora has a number of small offices in multiple cities. Their projects do not have corporate standards and are driven by the flavor of the local city. Pandora’s 5,000 sf Seattle office is located in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. The design concept of the office is ‘grunge with a twist.’ This was achieved by painting the open-to-structure ceiling dark and using low ambient light accompanied with wood and metal. Features include a brightly colored plaid wallcovering in a teaming area and a stacked firewood wall behind the Pandora logo in the reception area. Environmental graphics were geared towards Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, including a large performance graphic and lyrics to well-known Nirvana songs graphically displayed along two large interior walls.
