PAN AM INSPIRED TRAVEL WITH A
MID-CENTURY TWIST.
The design concept behind this project was inspired by Pan-am travel and destinations with a mid-century twist. You can see this reflected in the material choices like lava rock (sourced from the Philippines) and breeze-block which is a reminiscent of the Hawaiian island vernacular. The era of grand travel from its concept designs and motifs is even carried into the style of the work culture by the implementation of a no assigned seating policy. Varied work points encourage employees to freely move, explore, and land in various environments that suit ever evolving work styles throughout the business day. A variety of work environments, including intimate 2-3 person huddle rooms, booth & banquette open areas, and dedicated ‘library’ space are also provided by the design team to promote greater flexible collaboration.
